English: This service to Quedlinburg closed at the end of January 2004. Since that time a company has replaced the standard gauge with narrow gauge track and extended the Selketalbahn from Stiege to Gernrode now to the ancient town of Quedlinburg. Even steam locomotives are to be seen at Quedlinburg now.
Deutsch: Eine sogenannte Ferkeltaxe (DR-Baureihe VT 2.09) am Bahnhof Gernrode (Harz). Die normalspurige Strecke wurde Ende Januar 2004 zunächst stillgelegt, während der Abschnitt zwischen Gernrode und Quedlinburg durch die Harzer Schmalspurbahnen zur Meterspur umgebaut und damit das Netz bis nach Quedlinburg verlängert wurde.
