File:Goose waits for eggs to hatch (5662819966).jpg
Summary
| Description | These are of a family of geese who are living in a pile of aggregate at the ODOT East Salem Compound. Employees working at the East Salem Compound watched the Canadian goose sitting on top of the pile of aggregate. She seemed to be patiently waiting for something to happen. They soon figured out that she and her partner were waiting for eggs to hatch. On April 19, employees got their first look at the gaggle of goslings. The seven babies tumbled out of the nest and rolled down the aggregate pile and promptly went for a stroll around the parking lot. The proud parents kept keen eyes on their new family as they enjoyed the spring sunshine. |
