Deutsch: Figürliche Darstellung des Saint Ronan, lebend im 6. Jahrhundert, in der Kirche von Locronan. Ronan war der Name eines irischen Pilger, Einsiedler und späteren Heiligen in der westlichen Bretagne, Gründer des gleichnamigen Ortes Locronan und Co-Patron Quimper , zusammen mit ihrem Gründer St. Corentin. Das Dorf Locronan (wörtlich "der Ort der Ronan"), das sich etwa 17 km nordwestlich von Quimper befindet, verdankt seinen Namen diesem angeblichen Gründer, dem irisch gebürtigen Pilger Saint Ronan. Auch in Plozévet wurde zu seinen Ehren und Gedenken noch im 18. Jahrhundert die "Capelle de Saint Ronan" errichtet. Auch hier wird ein im Inneren der Kapelle befindlicher Granit-Sarkophag als seine Grablege verehrt.
