Summary
| Description |
English: Simulation of endoderm formation by differential adhesion alone. GATA6 (blue) cells have lower self adhesion than NANOG (red) cells and cross adhesion between both cell types is lowest of all. GATA6 cells separate from the cell mass to the outside of available space, but are not all placed next to the blastocoel surface (bottom) as required for correct endoderm specification. |
