English: A pair of ivory candlesticks mounted on natural wood bases. Thin black and red lines decorate the top and the bottom of the ivory. The candlesticks are enclosed in a wooden presentation box with brass hinges and key. The interior of the box has two velvet covered rests for the candlesticks and the cover of the box displays an outline of Liberia done in a darker wood inlay. Gift of President William R. Tolbert of Liberia. |
