English: Small apparatus for distillation under a vacuum. Vacuum is made by oil pump (on the lower right) connected to control Buchner flask and manometer. This apparatus is actually made in one part (three side adapter, and condenser) except thermometer, round-bottom flasks and adapter know as "cow".
In this setup aniline is being distilled at the temperature of 62°C (aniline boiling point at atmospheric pressure is around 180°C) |
