There are a number of historical maps on https://historiskekort.dk/

The maps are freely licensed (except sea maps) according to https://historiskekort.dk/about and https://klimadata-2024.gopublic.dk/om-os/vilkaar-og-priser (CC-BY-4.0)

I have downloaded 2.000+ old maps and their metadata.

I have tried to relate the maps to municipalities of Denmark via geopandas

A snip of the datas can be seen at User:MGA73/Kort-data

I have uploaded a few maps as a test and they can be seen at Category:Maps uploaded by MGA73.

I have not found a way to link directly to the map except via links like this (a search):

On that page you can click the map and view meta data.

Filenames are created as

• f"{row['titel']} ({row['gaeldendefra']}-{row['gaeldendetil']}).jpg"
• : converted to -
• " converted to '
• if duplicates the 2, 3, 4... are added like Foo.jpg, Foo 2.jpg
