About me

I am retired and travel for leisure only today.

Since April 2020 I work with a Nikon D850 with a Tamron zoom 24 - 70 mm and a Nikkor zoom 70 - 300 mm. Since May 2008 I am geocoding, today with the "Geo Tracker" app on my mobile phone. I use Geosetter to merge geodata and pictures and also add locations with this fantastic freeware. I am using Geosetter also to rename all my pictures to a format "Date/Time/Country/Location/Sublocation/Altitude.jpg" before I upload them. Since August 2009 I take all my pictures in RAW-(NEF)-format. Format conversion and editing I do with Lightroom CC, which I also use to merge pictures for panoramas and to upload them to Wikimedia Commons.
