Gràcies per l'avís, Jordi! De fet, vaig visitar l'exposició de la fàbrica Llobet-Guri ara fa dos anys durant el certamen. Aquest cap de setmana m'és impossible, però el que ve no et dic que no em vagui de pujar... Per cert, la xerrada que dius, al programa diu que és dissabte, no divendres (de fet, el dia 19 és dissabte). Si fos un divendres al vespre no podria pas venir, ja que depenc estrictament del transport públic i a més plego tard de la feina, tampoc no hi seria a temps. En dissabte, cap problema. • Created Category:Periodontal diseases and disorders and filled it.
• Category:Oral and maxillofacial surgery is now only a subcategory of Category:Surgery. Therefore, Category:Surgical dentistry is now a subcategory of Category:Dentistry procedures. Perhaps, Category:Surgical dentistry should not be a subcategory of Category:Oral and maxillofacial surgery, if no then add a message to look for Category:Oral and maxillofacial surgery (with {{Cat see also}}).

Imágenes en castellano en la wikipedia gallega

Hola, Jmarchn. Acabo de ver que has cambiado unas imágenes en png por otras en svg en algunas páginas (que casualmente había hecho yo) de la Galipedia, lo cual supone, sin duda, una mejora del formato. Pero ese cambio llevaba asociado otro: la imagen original estaba en inglés y la nueva estaba en castellano, es decir, no estaba en el idioma de nuestra wikipedia, el gallego. Yo personalmente no tengo muy claro si es mejor dejar la imagen que estaba, que no estaba en gallego, pero si en inglés, que es un idioma muy internacional en ciencia y los términos que contenía eran facilmente entendibles sin necesidad de saber mucho inglés (bastaba con saber ciencia para inmediatamente entenderlos, ya que son muy similares a los terminos gallegos), o si es mejor ponerla en castellano. El castellano lo entendemos perfectamente en Galicia, pero ten en cuenta que por la misma razón la propia existencia de la Galipedia (o de la Viquipèdia) sería superflua, ya que los gallegos (o catalanes) siempre podríamos consultar directamente la wikipedia castellana para todo. Se podría añadir que en la práctica hay una cierta competencia entre las wikipedias en castellano y en gallego a la hora de decidir cuál se consulta. En consecuencia, en las páginas que hago yo siempre traduzco (siempre que me es posible) todas las imágenes en castellano al gallego, si bien dejo algunas en inglés (que también trato de traducirlas, naturalmente, pero no doy abasto). La mejor solución es traducir también esa imagen ahora al gallego. Intenté hacerlo, y si no está ya hecho es porque no pude abrirla en Inskape, que es el programa que uso, aunque no domino totalmente, ni mucho menos. Lo que ocurrió es que no conseguí bajarla y abrila en el Inkscape por mi desconocimiento. No sé si tengo que clicar en Copiar imagen o en Guardar imagen como o en dónde. Acabo preguntándote una cosa: ¿Cambiarías una imagen en inglés por otra en castellano en la wikipedia francesa, por ejemplo? Bien, puede ser también que todo sea un prejuicio mío y nada más y seguramente tu intención era buena, lo que he de agradecer. Por otra parte, hay imágenes mías en gallego que las encontré casualmente (así en gallego) en la wikipedia croata y vasca (eso que me enterara, que igual hay más, ya que he hecho docenas de imágenes para la wikipedia commons, generalmente traducciones), pero esa imagen la subieron ellos (los usuarios croatas y vascos), ya que no tenían imagen en el idioma propio de su wikipedia. --Miguelferig (talk) 22:49, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

Muchas gracias por tus indicaciones. Me fueron muy útiles y ya conseguí realizar la traducción. Utilicé de inicio la versión inglesa porque se podían escribir las etiquetas como texto sin tener que usar text to path.
