Keep. The character is derived from what an anthropomorphic fox would look like in the Sonic art style, not Tails specifically, and art style is not copyrighted. There are no design elements or combinations of them that are considered unique to Tails. If the character looked a lot like Tails, then it would be considered derivative, but here, they do not.
