video2commons ابزاری برای بارگذاری پروندههای صوتی یا تصویری از آدرس اینترنتی یا دستگاههای شما به ویکیمدیا کامنز است. این ابزار به طور خودکار پروندههای بارگذاری شده را به فرمت سازگار با ویکیانبار تبدیل میکند. این شامل عملکردهایی مانند حذف صدا، زیرنویس، ویدیو میشود؛ همه اینها به طور پیشفرض فعال هستند. این ابزار از OAuth برای ورود استفاده میکند.

Requirements
In order to use the tool, your account must be autoconfirmed and have at least 50 edits.[1]
چگونه کار میکند
- به صفحهٔ https://video2commons.toolforge.org مراجعه کنید و وارد شوید
- روی «افزودن وظیفه…» کلیک کنید
- ویدیویی را که میخواهید تبدیل کنید انتخاب کنید
- اگر صدا، تصویر یا زیرنویس نمیخواهید، گزینههای مربوط به درونریزی را از حالت انتخاب خارج کنید.
- الگوی توضیحات پرونده را تکمیل و ردهها را اضافه کنید
- روی «تأیید» کلیک کنید. تبدیل در فضای ابری شروع میشود:
- مرحلهٔ اول یک نوار بارگیری را نشان میدهد
- مرحلهٔ دوم یک نوار پیشرفت را نشان میدهد که درصد باقیمانده را نشان میدهد.
- ویدیوی تبدیلشده بهطور خودکار در ویکیانبار بارگذاری میشود.
توجه داشته باشید که اگر صفحهٔ توضیحاتی با آن نام در ویکیانبار وجود داشته باشد، نمیتوانید پروندهای را بارگذاری کنید.
میتوانید مرورگر خود را در حین انجام کار ببندید، زیرا تبدیل روی سرور انجام میشود، نه روی رایانه شما.
همچنین میتوانید وظایف بیشتری اضافه کنید. آنها به صف اضافه شده و پس از انجام، منتشر میشوند.
ظرفیت محدود
لطفاً قبل از درخواست تعداد زیادی پرونده، نکات زیر را در نظر داشته باشید تا سرویس در دسترس دیگران قرار داشته باشد:
- این یک سرویس جامعهٔ کوچک است، نه یک زیرساخت قدرتمند که توسط WMF مدیریت شود؛
- در حال حاضر میتواند همزمان ۲۰ وظیفه کدگردانی را انجام دهد؛
- کدگردانی ویدیوهای بزرگ میتواند چندین ساعت طول بکشد. ۴۸ ساعت مهلت زمانی وجود دارد. اگر نمیدانید چقدر طول میکشد، لطفاً قبل از ارسال دهها یا صدها پرونده، فقط چند پرونده ارسال کنید تا تخمینی از زمان تحویل داشته باشید.
- شما میتوانید حجم کار فعلی روی گرافانا را از اینجا رصد کنید. نمودار «بار تجمیعی» میزان استفاده فعلی از پردازنده را از ۰ تا حدود ۱۰۰-۱۲۰ نشان میدهد. لطفاً تعداد زیادی پرونده ارسال نکنید. اگر مشاهده کردید که حجم کار برای چند ساعت بالاتر از ۱۰۰ پرونده است، به این معنی است که سرویس با ظرفیت کامل کار میکند.
خطاهای استاندارد
- An exception occurred: TaskError: File already exists. Please choose another name.
- Meaning: It means that there is a video file with exactly the same name as the file you are trying to upload. It is probably the same video. Check for possible redundancy and if it is not the same video, choose a new name.

- Meaning: Downloading of video with youtube-dl from the internet failed
- Failed to determine the path of the downloaded video. Is the video too large?

- Meaning: Transcoding of video was aborted because of limited resources of the computer running the software

The tool uses yt-dlp to parse websites for video files and obtain associated information. New sites can be added by adding 'extractor' files to that tool. Some sites will work without needing a dedicated extractor file.
Beware that some sites such as YouTube forbid automated downloader tools, so this tool may be frequently rate-limited or blocked.
