What problem does this solve?

There are historical images of different cultures and countries, but grouping them based on year, ethnicity, etc., is missing in Wikipedia.

What is the solution?

It would be a great idea to group all such historic documents and images arranged like an online museum. This could be a great open knowledge platform.

General considerations

Some online projects are already working on visualizing the content of Wikipedia, like Histropedia.
