My plan

I am an active Wikipedia contributor from Nigeria. Contributing to Wikipedia, Wikicommons and Wikidata. I work around contents including historical, cultural, educational and health contents among others. In my capcity I have led series of Wikipedia projects which has led to recruitment of over 100 Wikipedians. At the moment, I face significant challenges with my existing hardware, which is outdated and often unreliable. This limits my ability to edit articles efficiently, conduct research, and participate in collaborative projects. I face a serious challenge with my laptop which screen and battery health are in bad condition. With the donation of a laptop, from Wikimedia foundation through the Wiki Project Med Foundation I could significantly increase contributions to health related contents and other areas of interest. I plan to create and improve more contents that focuses largely on health in Africa, contribute structred data about health facilities in Nigeria on Wikidata and upload health facilities in Nigeria. The laptop will also help me learn advanced Wikimedia tools, translation work, and contribute more consistently as an individual committed to free knowledge.

If awarded User:Kaizenify will be at Wikimania to pick the laptop for me.
