Project idea
What is the problem you're trying to solve?
Wikipedia contains taxonomic information about animals and plants but you cannot see members of ranks in an organized way.
What is your solution?
I have made an application (http://ellak-monades-aristeias.github.io/BioTaxonomy/) that uses the MediaWiki and DBpedia APIs to present taxonomic information in a tree-like structure. Also, some simple statistics are presented in the form of pie charts. I am looking to redesign and improve my application.
