Explain your plan

I am a dedicated contributor to Hausa Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. Over the years, I have made more than 17,000 edits on Hausa Wikipedia, created over 6,000 articles, contributed more than 7,000 edits on Wikidata, and made over 25,000 edits across Wikimedia projects globally.

My current contributions focus mainly on creating and improving Hausa-language content in areas such as education, biographies, history, geography, health, culture, and topics relevant to African communities. I also contribute to Wikidata by adding structured data, improving interlanguage links, and supporting better visibility of Hausa content within the Wikimedia ecosystem.

Receiving a used laptop from the Wikimedia Foundation would significantly improve my ability to contribute more effectively and consistently. At the moment, limited access to reliable equipment affects the speed and quality of my work. With a laptop, I plan to:

Create and expand more quality Hausa Wikipedia articles. Improve references, citations, and article quality standards. Increase my Wikidata contributions and data maintenance work. Participate actively in Wikimedia campaigns, edit-a-thons, and community projects. Support and mentor new contributors interested in Hausa Wikimedia projects. Contribute to closing the knowledge gap for underrepresented African languages online.

The laptop would help me carry out research, translation, sourcing, and long editing sessions more efficiently, allowing me to continue contributing valuable free knowledge to Wikimedia projects.
