Conference venues
problemAllow audience to browse multiple threads of interest in a physical conference?
solutionThere are several things to consider including
  1. rooms in close proximity.
  2. entrances at rear for unobstrusive entry/exit
  3. current talk summary at entrance
  4. do not assume that everyone owns a smart phone with internet access

What problem does this solve?

At physical conferences with multiple sessions in progress, it helps for many to browse the talks to make decisions on further engagement.

What is the solution?

In many conference halls, the design allows for people to enter and exit unobstrusively from the rear of the room. In places where such a design is lacking, thought must be given to "browsers".

General considerations

When to use

When organizing conferences.
