Wikimedia MKD (Macedonian: Викимедија МКД, transliterated: Vikimedija MKD) is a non-profit organisation of Wikimedians that started to work in January 2024, and was fully operated by the law in March 2024 by merging Shared Knowledge (2014–2023) and GLAM Macedonia (2016–2023). It is also a successor of the derecognised local chapter Wikimedia Macedonia (2009–2017). Its main goal is to run mission-aligned initiatives and projects in order to promote the Wikimedia projects and the values of the Wikimedia movement on the territory of Macedonia.

Membership

Regular member of the organisation can become any individual who is willing to take active part in the projects of the Association by filling out the membership application.

Membership in the Association is on a voluntary basis. A member of the Association can become a physical and legal person who accepts the program and statute of the association. One becomes a member of the Association by signing a declaration of accession, which is recorded in the Register of members of the association.
