Opinion Would not it make sense to rename the property to DDB person (GND) ID similar to Deutsche Biographie (GND) ID (P7902) to highlight the fact that it is still a GND ID (P227), but not every GND ID (P227) resolves to a valid deutsche-digitale-bibliothek page? --Ailintom (talk) 11:36, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- I think that just makes the name of the property unnecessarily more complex and to what actual benefit? Though it uses the same number used by GND, this is still a unique identifier within the DDB. AdamSeattle (talk) 17:14, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- I would still say, that the description of the property should make it clear that it is the same number as GND ID. And also the format as a regular expression should necessarily be changed to match that of GND ID (P227), because for example 11873153X does not match

- I made a revision to the description and revised the regular expression. AdamSeattle (talk) 16:39, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
