Discussion

  •  Support external identifier. This is a reference for many developers as well. John Samuel (talk) 08:34, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

  •  Comment Is there a region-agnostic URL that we could use for the formatter (i.e. that does not specifically have "en-US" in it)? Mahir256 (talk) 05:55, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
    • @Mahir256: They use en-US for English, I don't know why. Using 'en' alone redirects to 'en-US'. --Tinker Bell 06:03, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
    • @Mahir256: There is, it looks like the language code can just be taken out and it still works fine. I've updated the proposal to reflect this. --SilentSpike (talk) 12:20, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
      • @SilentSpike: Might MDN redirect based on IP geolocation? In other words, might the links be broken when accessed from a non-English-speaking country? This could be tested with an international VPN, or by editors in such countries. Daask (talk) 20:15, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
