Motivation
Rakuten Books (not to be confused with Rakuten Kobo) is an online bookshop selling physical books, eBooks and other media. It is very extensive when it comes to Japanese books. Having this as a property would help with authority control and disambiguation for Japanese authors in particular, especially authors who, whilst notable, do not appear in international databases. -- Yirba (talk) 02:00, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
