Anyigba is a town in the Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. It is the home of Kogi State University.
Understand
Anyigba is primarily populated by the Igala tribe. Igala is the main language spoken here, although you will also hear Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Egbira and others. Islam is the predominant religion of the people of Anyigba, but traditional African religions and Christianity are also practised here.
In 2012, it was home to 190,000 people.
In the colonial era, it was known as "Ayangba" or "Ayamgba".
Climate
The wet season lasts from April to October with rainfall peaking in September. The dry season from November to March is characterized by the northeast tradewind, known as the Harmattan.

By bus You can travel to Anyigba, Kogi State by bus from major cities like Abuja, Benin, Lagos. There are numerous transport services to help get into Anyigba such as ABC Transport, God is Good motors, Big Joe Motors, Young shall grow and other suitable transport companies are available.

By bus Buses can easily be gotten around Dekina at parks or the ones plying the road at that time.
By tricycle Tricycle can be seen all around the roads most times.
