Ranaghat
Category:Has custom banner Ranaghat (রাণাঘাট Rāṇāghāṭ) is a small town along the river Churni in the Nadia district of West Bengal. The name Ranaghat comes from the name of a Dakat Rana. This is the great character of Vande Mataram by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay.

Buses are also available from Kolkata. National Highway no 34 passes through Ranaghat (Pramanik stoppage)
