FPC

Bildkritik auf Featured Pictures ist in aller Regel aufrichtig und ernstgemeint – zumindest die Kritik an deinem Bild ist es eindeutig. Du bekommst ehrliche Antworten auf die Frage: „Spricht euch dieses Bild an?“. Deshalb ist es dort auch üblich, negatives Feedback zu begründen. Wenn dein Bild keine Begeisterung auslöst, dann kannst du natürlich, wie du es gerade machst, alle anderen (größtenteils erfahrene WPC-Fotografen) für ahnungslos erklären – oder du setzt dich nochmal objektiv mit deinem Bild auseinander und überlegst dir, warum es auf andere offenbar nicht so grandios wirkt wie auf dich. Ein guter Fotograf wird man, indem man verstehen lernt, wie man ein Bild macht, das andere anspricht und nicht nur einen selbst. Und zur Frage, worum es in FPC geht: Dort geht es darum, die aller-aller-aller-besten Bilder auf Commons herauszustellen. Die Spitze des Gipfels des Eisberges. Nichts anderes. Ein Bild mit technischen Mängeln muss schon absolut atemberaubend sein, um dort zu punkten. Ein „Wir haben davon sonst nix“ reicht wirklich nicht. --Kreuzschnabel 13:35, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

The shadow is deliberately chosen: it follows the line of the roof and the arch of the first window. Consider the situation of the building: you cannot take a pic without shadows, the second best (and "undistorted") anyone is able to produce is File:Bayreuth Synagoge im Schatten.jpg. Whether it would be possible to photograph later in the evening and to get a better result, I do not know. If necessary, you should give up the blue sky and take a picture in cloudy weather. @Poliocretes: thank you for your immediate response. Yes, the subject is the matter (see Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter#Art (copies of)). The artist (Banksy) owns the copyright for his work (the painting). If you want to reproduce it and publish the reproduction (= to take a photograph and upload it to the internet), you need permission of the artist (unless the work is in the public domain, which is not the case because Banksy is still alive and hasn't died more than 70 years ago). This permission is missing. Template:Image permission/en explains what you can do to provide the permission of the artist to the Commons support team.--Chianti (talk) 16:25, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Moinǃ Würdest du bitte bei diesem Bild vorbeischauen? 2019 hast du hier einige Änderungen an der Kategorisierung durchgeführt. Unter anderem hast du die Kategorie:Forest paths in Bavaria durch die Kategorie:Forest paths in Germany ersetzt. Meine Ortskenntnis ist für Bayern nicht besonders gut, aber ich meinte, dass der Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald in Bayern liegt, zumal der Bildautor auch keine weiterführenden Informationen angegeben hat. First sentence of that link says "the design of a useful article [...] shall be considered a pictorial, graphic, or sculptural work only if, and only to the extent that, such design incorporates pictorial, graphic, or sculptural features that can be identified separately from, and are capable of existing independ­ently of, the utilitarian aspects of the article." Chianti also put a npd tag on a photo I uploaded of a chair, and bookcase, I photographed in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. These are both 3D "works of artistic craftsmanship", which under the guidelines for UK FoP are acceptable as uploads to Commons._14GTR (talk) 16:25, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
