Can you explain the situation? The author published it under version 1.0 of the Creative Commons Public Domain Mark. Why commons requires a specific reason why the author did this? He just did it. --16:04, 9 December 2025 (UTC) Elmepi (talk) 16:04, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello Qurren! When the imagees where uploaded from the website, they were CC-BY-2.0. E.g. File:10212-03 Electronic Dice Kit.jpg ⇒ https://web.archive.org/web/20241126193748/https://www.sparkfun.com/products/retired/10212. In 2025 sparfun lauched the new website design, changing links and license.--Elmepi (talk) 06:35, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
