You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

SVG - tekst

Jak korzystasz z Inkscape to daj w opcji Tekst> "zamień zwykły tekst" lub "convert to text". W krajnym wypadku zamień tekst na ścieżkę, ale nie jest to zalecane. Warto także korzystać wyłącznie ze standardowych fontów - Arial, etc. Masur (talk) 16:58, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Pascal's triangles

Hi. See this uploads: File:Pascal's Triangle divisible by 2.svg, File:Pascal's Triangle divisible by 3.svg, File:Pascal's Triangle divisible by 4.svg, File:Pascal's Triangle divisible by 5.svg. In bottom line: "1 ... 2380, 380, 136, ... 1". Is it right? 560+120=/=380. Can yof fix it? (It is translated info from plWiki: ). Jakubtr (talk) 07:53, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Cześć, źródłem były przeważnie statuty gmin, plany zagospodarowania przestrzennego itp.Teraz widzę, że gmina bestwina ma już nowy statut: http://www.bip.bestwina.pl/index.php?str=2&id_strony=54 , w starym mapka była prostsza. Pozdrawiam, D T G (talk) 21:40, 22 June 2013 (UTC)

Os. Oświecenia 65-69

Cześć!

Czy byłbyś w stanie przyjrzeć się opisowi zdjęcia: Kronika Budowy Rataj 28.jpg.

Mam wątpliwości, czy to jest rzeczywiście budynek 65-69 (w którym mieszkają zresztą moi dziadkowie). Gęstość balkonów wskazuje raczej na budynki w drugiej linii zabudowy (nie bezpośrednio przy ul. Piłsudskiego, dawniej Ostrowskiej), ale to by oznaczało, że zamiast bloków po lewej powinien stać pawilon z biblioteką. Być może zdjęcie powstało gdzie indziej (mocnym kandydatem mogłyby być np. Os. Boh. II Wojny Światowej z działki Selgrosa albo Os.Rzeczypospolitej).
