Copyvio tags
I have removed your copyvio tags of Dron1408's uploads, as the links you provided are not adequate evidence of a clear copyright violation. Dron1408 uploaded them in 2015, while your links are from 2016, so it is possible that the other website got the images from Commons. If you continue to have doubts about the images, you may file a regular deletion request. It would be advisable to batch similar images together by clicking "Perform batch task" on their user page or user talk page. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 05:57, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
- @King of Hearts No, I'll pass. If wikimedia's position is that a miltech company could plausibly have taken the images of their own products from Commons to use for their own product catalogue, which only exists on the wayback archive because it was linked to by wikipedia, I don't really see any point in raising copyright concerns here. -- Asilvering (talk) 16:48, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

TPA on en.wiki
Hello- I saw that you restored someone's TPA on enwp when it was asked here I think. Can you restore mine too? It's getting kinda clogged up. DoctorWhoFan91 (talk) 07:57, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- I checked on your most recent UTRS appeal and it looks like your six months ends at the end of September. Come back in a month and yes, I can restore TPA if you're planning to make an appeal. -- asilvering (talk) 08:08, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you. DoctorWhoFan91 (talk) 08:13, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Question- can I email you to ask some questions regarding future appeals? DoctorWhoFan91 (talk) 07:43, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sure, go for it. -- asilvering (talk) 16:33, 27 August 2025 (UTC)

Question
Greetings! I noticed you have seemingly mistagged my photograph as lacking source information, even though I disclosed it as my own work with the appropriate tag at time of upload (Own work). Can I revert your edit, or do you plan on removing that warning yourself? Because otherwise, I'm not sure what else I can possibly do (is there some other tag that would be more appropriate?). Thanks a bunch! TheNewMinistry (talk) 03:41, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I don't understand. If it's your work, why wouldn't you simply say as much when asked directly on en-wiki? -- asilvering (talk) 03:50, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Look, I understand Aesurias is your buddy so I'll save you additional sarcasm. There are serious accusations against them that, if unaddressed, are going to reach far beyond an election that's going to be over in three weeks. I wasn't attacking them - just restating information confirmed to me after last week's Arbitration Committee investigation. If Aesurias can accuse me of being a mayoral candidate (which if true would mean a mayoral candidate spends several hours a day editing articles about wrestling and theme parks), I can repeat their stated truth back at them. They have strong political biases that should probably result in a topic ban regarding the Israel/Palestine conflict. And I saw the comment on your Talk Page where Aesurias claimed that I was "leaving comments on other talk pages I'm in" - this literally never happened. I understand the temp block, but maybe turn your crosshairs towards the person actively pushing political narratives in articles. TheNewMinistry (talk) 05:34, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Aesurias is not my "buddy". They asked me, as an administrator, a question about what to do about your actions. So far, that seems to be completely substantiated. You are not, at least as far as I can tell, being accused of being a mayoral candidate. You are accused of having a COI with regards to a mayoral candidate, and all you have said in response is deflection. That's not a good look, and I strongly encourage you to be more forthright in the future. As for Aesurias, if you have npov concerns regarding Israel-Palestine, the place to raise those is at en:WP:AE. -- asilvering (talk) 19:26, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- "He seems to have given an inordinate amount of focus to Gainer's small independent campaign (one could argue it's because he is Gainer)"
- Aesurias throws around allegations like this a lot. Meanwhile, they are creating articles about fringe topics and then deleting notability tags from those articles to prevent discussion and potential deletion. I'm guilty of being unpleasant to Aesurias a week ago and making them angry, but that's it. I'll be sure to heed your other advice, thanks. TheNewMinistry (talk) 20:16, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

- Saw you've been online for a while and never responded. I went ahead and reverted your edit to my upload since no further guidance was provided. Cheers! TheNewMinistry (talk) 18:48, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
