These templates are added to images from the Department of Radiology, UC San Diego Health. A systematic organization of these is located at:

Parameters

  • bodypart:
  • plural: any additional letter before the s, such as "e" in pelvises
  • age: In years
  • sex: male or female
  • view: projection, not followed by "projection" or "view"

Example for image description page

  • {{Bonepit collection|bodypart=pelvis|age=3|sex=male|view=anteroposterior|plural=e}}

This will generate as shown in this page: File:X-ray of the pelvis of a 3 year old male - case 1 - anteroposterior.jpg

Example for category page

  • {{Bonepit collection category|bodypart=pelvis|age=3|sex=male|view=anteroposterior|plural=e}}

This will generate the following:
