Hallo Frank, gerade bin ich auf Deine beeindruckende Sammlung von Schildern in Essen gestoßen. Wie mir früher schon bei Deinen vielen Fotos von Info-Tafeln in Wuppertal aufgefallen ist, immer sind sie (wie auch alle anderen Fotos) von bestechender Qualität. Weshalb nur laden so viele User Schilder mit (meist historischen) Erläuterungen hoch, wenn der Text nicht mehr zu lesen ist (gerne weil man selbst die Kamera zu schief gehalten hat)? Und wieso wird eine solche Folie aufgehängt? Zwei Sätze und ein fetter Grammatikfehler, da hätte sich doch ein Neuausdruck plus Laminierung gelohnt. Aber selbst auf einem Lehrpfad gerät der erste Satz der Erklärung aus dem Lot - und keiner merkt's anscheinend. Übrigens waren das zwei Zufallsbeobachtungen, ich hab' jetzt nicht nach Fehlern gesucht; aber gestaunt, wie vielfältig Deine Schildersammlung ist. Im übrigen bist Du ja ein Urgestein von Commons. Allzuviele Leute dürften nicht mehr Fotos hier veröffentlicht haben als Du. Und das ohne Serien von zwei Dutzend Aufnahmen des immer gleichen Objekts aus minimal veränderter Perspektive. Neben die technische tritt bei dieser Riesenmenge von Fotos eine logistische Qualität (korrekte Bezeichnung und Kategorisierung), das ist perfekt. Meine Anerkennung wollte ich mal loswerden. Schade dass Du Wuppertal verloren gegangen bist! Aber selbst Deine wertvollen (nun auch schon wieder 14 Jahre alten - tempus fugit!) Aufnahmen der Schwimmoper werden angegangen von selbsternannten Wächtern des Urheberrechts - weshalb erinnert mich das denn doch ein wenig an die politischen Zustände im Lande? Thanks for reassessing your early uploads, but note that replacing a photograph with an AI upscaled version many years later (as you did with File:Pereskia grandifolia ies.jpg) crosses the line of COM:OVERWRITE.
