File:Mickai logo.png — F10 application

Hello Fitindia, thank you for taking the time to patrol new uploads.

I am the uploader of the file File:Mickai logo.png (deleted on 6 May 2026 under CSD F10 following a tag from Omphalographer). I would like to leave a respectful note for the record rather than to dispute the action itself.

The file was the registered figurative element of UK trade mark UK00004373277 (proprietor: Mickai, Companies House registration 17166618), uploaded by myself as the trade-mark proprietor and software developer. F10 is defined by the policy as covering personal photos by non-contributors; in this case the file was not a personal photograph, was a corporate brand mark, and was uploaded by the rights holder for use on an article.

I have re-uploaded the brand mark at File:Mickai brand mark.png under {{cc-by-sa-4.0}} together with {{Trademark}}, with full provenance (UK IPO trade-mark register entry and Companies House registration linked from the file page) and the file is in use on the article en:Draft:Mickai currently under review at AfC. I hope this addresses any concern about whether the file is actually used for an article rather than as a personal upload.

If anything about the new file's licensing or sourcing would benefit from further clarification, I would welcome the feedback. My intention is to follow Commons policy carefully, not to evade it; I am happy to revise tags, descriptions or categories on request.

Deleted file

Hello there! Recently the file Igor Lemos Moreira, pesquisador.jpg was removed, as it was considered CSD F10 (personal photo by non-contributors)

In 2022, Igor was a member of the Mais Teoria da História na Wiki public history project, which you can learn more about here. His picture was uploaded so we could include it in the banner of our 2022's team: Integrantes do Projeto Mais Teoria da História na Wiki em 2022.png, but we were not able to before the picture was removed.

If the deletion is reversed, we will quickly categorized this picture as belonging to an ex-member of Mais Teoria and upload the new version of the banner, with Igor's picture as one of the sources.

Could you kindly re-upload the picture so that I can make the necessary adjustments?

F10 does not apply to this file (the author was an active contributor with over 200 valid edits on Commons) and an actual DR is currently up for it. Please undelete. Dronebogus (talk) 10:54, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
