colorization of (old) photographs
Hi Charlesjsharp,
- thanks for interest and kind comments,
- I fully agree with you.
- First, I did not only colorize the face, but the clothes too, very soft. I must say that I am very proud of the result, it was a very hard job. Second, I think I will try soon a nomination in FPC, comments will surely be interesting, and because the goal of FP is very different than VI. Third, it appears that AI often provides awful pictures with lot of differences with the original pictures. I think it will be an issue and we should avoid this. Anyway, I think Commons should accept AI retouched pictures ONLY with the relevant tags in the file page of the picture with a link to the original, in order to avoid any confusion. But…isn’t the fight already lost ?
- The original AI creations question is a different matter.
