W Wikisłowniku zalecenia są takie, by zdjęcie zawsze było poziome, a pionowe w ostateczności, właśnie ze względu na problem wyświetlania tego na urządzeniach mobilnych. In Wiktionary, the recommendations are that the photo should always be horizontal and vertical as a last resort. Precisely because of the problem of displaying this on mobile devices. práva na logo

Dostal jsem upozornění na problém s licencí File:Spscvlogowhiteback.jpg. Popravdě se ve wiki moc neorientuji a byl jsem rád že jsem jakžtakž dal dohromady článek ve kterém je použito. Anglicky také moc nevládnu a tak mi není zcela jasné jak mám prokázat vlastnictví práv k tomu logu. Jsem autorem toho loga, které škola využívá, proto jsem ho tam nahrál. Zdravím, v takovém případě by měl být odeslán potvrzující mail ze školní adresy do systému OTRS, viz ukázka svolení autora v mailu. V mezidobí lze do obrázku vložit šablonu "čeká na svolení (OTRS pending)" → {{subst:OP}}. Člen OTRS týmu následně vloží samotné "povolení (PermissionTicket)" , viz příklad vložení. Tak jsem asi v koncích....zaslal jsem žádost podle toho jak jste mi radil, ale přesto bylo logo smazáno. Chápu, že wiki musí mít svá pravidla, ale pro člověka neznalého všech fint je to poněkud složité. Zkusil jsem to i přes wikimedia, takový dotazník, ale jak mm prokázat práva na logo, které jsem pro školu vytvořil a poslal potvrzení ze školní adresy?

Ahoj, všiml jsem si pingu ve shrnutí fotky viz výše, a koukal jsem do systému. Povolení jsem zatím nenašel (ale zato jsem tam bylo povolení k jiné ministerské fotce). Je to prosím zatím správně? Pokud bychom povolení ve schránce mít měli, prosím o trochu podrobnější info (kým bylo posláno [úplně ideálně s přesností na konkrétní adresu, ale jméno taky pomůže], event. kdy). Občas se stává, že povolení spadne do spamu (který je společný napříč jazyky), takže tam ten detail v hledání docela pomůže. Případné citlivé údaje samozřejmě možné poslat wikimailem. ​ Ahoj, mám pocit, že máš zato, že povolení k Z. Mrázové zprostředkovávám já, jestliže píšeš podrobnosti k mailové komunikaci. Fotku i čekající šablonu na otrsnutí ale vložil nový účet. Trošku záhada, jak dobře se orientuje v interních šablonách. Proto jsem žádal kontrolu, aby to neusnulo a za pár let se nezjistilo, že žádný mail nikdy odeslán nebyl. Nevím, jestli se po nějaké době řeší tyto čekající šablony, ale samozřejmě (chytře) zamezují navrhnout na smaz soubory typu Zuny, pokud je obsahují.
Nevím k jaké jiné ministerské fotce povolení dorazilo.

Ahoj, skutečně jsem z pingu vyhodnotil, že povolení nějakým způsobem zprostředkováváš – omlouvám se za nedorozumění. V takovém případě fotografii není třeba nijak zvlášť řešit – jakmile vyprší lhůta pro doložení povolení, šablona se automaticky nahradí za návrh na smazání z důvodu chybějícího povolení. V rámci VRTS samozřejmě budu pravidelně došlou poštu sledovat, a pokud povolení dojde, bude vše v pořádku. S pozdravem, Martin Urbanec (talk) 11:34, 30 December 2025 (UTC)

Díky za informaci. V šabloně žádnou lhůtu nevidím, takže netuším, kdy se může nahradit šablonou ke smazu. To je věcí VRT týmu, a proto jsem taky pinkal. Kacir (talk) 13:43, 30 December 2025 (UTC)

Round 1 of Picture of the Year 2025 voting is open!

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2025 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year is the twentieth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favourite images featured on Commons during the last year (2025) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just five images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 18 April 2026, 23:59:59 UTC.

Announcing the Winners of Picture of the Year 2025!

Wikimedia Commons is pleased to finally announce the winners of this year's Picture of the Year 2025 contest! We had some truly incredible finalists to choose from, but the community has spoken.

I also want to highlight what an incredible turnout we had. In the second round, we saw a massive jump in both the number of users voting and the total votes cast. We had exactly 13,979 votes cast by 3,509 users! To put that in perspective, last year we had 7,403 votes from 2,837 users. It is amazing to see that level of growth and community engagement.

Thank you to everyone who voted, helped organize, and generally made the contest such a huge success this year!
