Good day im extremely curious how you came about the flag you have posted to be hawar islands flag .

Do you have any info to back the flag as a flag of hawar is this ligit - cause i actually live on the island and im bahraini so would really like to know if this is a ligament flag

Hi! I know you are busy but since you know Commons and also speak Japanese I hope it would be easy for you to help me out. I have been moving files from jawiki to Commons and getting files deleted on jawiki. It started with 86k files and now there are "only" 34.7k files. So it is going the right way.

Files in ja:Category:Bot deletion not possible are files moved to Commons long time ago and often the transfer is bad. So I need to check them all one by one. Today 1,670 is left. The problem is the first files in the category. I have to use google translate and that does not always translate correct. If you have time perhaps you can help me check the files?

For example when there is an URL is that the source or is it just a "you can read more here"? Or when a statue how old is it? Could it be PD? Etc.

If the file is okay for Commons I can delete it on jawiki once description etc. is fixed on Commons. If not okay it should of course be deleted on Commons (and perhaps also on jawiki). --MGA73 (talk) 11:29, 27 March 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for all the work you’ve been doing here, including on the Flag of Morocco. One detail I’ve noticed about that flag off-WP and in person: the star is “interwoven” or “interlaced”, i.e. with breaks to suggest lines going over and under other lines, in what’s called the “left-handed” version (the diagonal line from top to bottom crosses over the horizontal line on the left side). @.Raven The 2005 law, which this file is sourced from, does not mention that the pentagram is interlaced. If the government wants to use a flag that is different from what the law says, then it should rewrite the law. @98.213.225.105: It appears from actual images (Google search “Flag of Morocco”), e.g. this, that the left-handed interlaced pentagram is what they mean by “pentagram”, thus our not interlacing it would be our cross-cultural misunderstanding. Cf. the interlaced hexagram (6-pointed star) on the old flag of Nigeria; both designs represent the legendary Seal of Solomon.
Update: I see there actually is an interlaced File:Flag of Morocco (large stroke).svg – and note the two interlaced pentagrams in File:Coat of arms of Morocco.svg – •Raven  .talk 21:17, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

Flag of Dominica

I have seen quite a lot of color variation, even excluding different shades of the same color. I have identified at least 7 variants so far. Note that minor artistic differences are ignored. Sources can be seen on the file's pages. So this raises the question: which one should be used on en:Dominica?
