Traffic signs in British Columbia
Greetings. I would like to invite you to revist uploading traffic signs in British Columbia. There have been numerous changes since you last worked on the subject. I have been keeping copies of the ever-changing Standard Traffic Sign Catalogue over the past few years, if that would be helpful. Fry1989 eh? 23:28, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

Colombia’s naval jack
Hello Denelson83, I hope you're doing well. I'm currently trying to determine whether the colour of Colombia’s naval jack —the one you posted— is actually sky blue. I've found very little information on the subject. In fact, one of the few sources that mention this colour seems to express some uncertainty about it. On the other hand, I've come across other sources suggesting that the blue used in the flag is darker. While doing some digging on the Wayback Machine, I found these two documents from the Colombian Navy: (, ) which state that the blue in the flag is azul turquí, a shade of navy blue.
This latter interpretation makes sense, as Decree 1856 defines the official colours for Colombia’s Armed Forces: red for the Army, navy blue (similar to azul turquí) for the Navy, and sky blue for the Air Force. Best regards. In this context, the official color of this emblem is azul turquí. I'm not sure if you'd be interested in making this change. Sendtel + (talk) 00:43, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
- I have absolutely no clue. If you can find a source that exactly pins down what that colour is supposed to be, then you can get it changed. -- Denelson83 (talk) 01:04, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
- Of course:
- Page four of the Colombian Navy's maritime ceremonial regulations shows the color of this flag
- On page 13, Section F of the Colombian Navy’s maritime ceremonial regulations, verbatim and translated into English: “The bow flag is the distinguishing mark of a Navy vessel on active duty and, consequently, when in a position to render honors” (Annex No. 6, Figure No. 7, as in the previous source). It is a square flag of azul turquí, and in its center is the coat of arms of the Republic of Colombia within a white circle with a red border; the diameter of the circle is half the height of the flag; that is, if the height of the flag is 0.5 m, the diameter of the circle is 0.25 m. The circle is centered both vertically and horizontally. Each vessel shall have a folding flagpole at the bow from which the bow flag is hoisted.
- Although the color is referred to only as “azul turquí,” the Spanish Wikipedia page on this term states that the corresponding values are as follows:
- HTML: #122562
- RGB: (18, 37, 98)
- CMYK: (100, 85, 0, 40)
- HSV: (216, 100%, 42%)
