2nd nomination. This is a re-nomination of the Mandelbrot set fragment. Based on previous feedback, the image has been re-rendered at a much higher resolution of 100 Megapixels (10,000 x 10,000 px) with 8x SSAA for maximum clarity. The source code is provided to ensure reproducibility.

The library has an extensive anti-bird-perching system - those are whiskers on the architectural knobs to discourage the birds. I think they have little balls on the end so they don't impale something. Acroterion (talk) 16:21, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for pointing this out Acroterion - yes, you can see some of the full 'whiskers' lower down in the picture, it's just for some of the top ones, only the ball is visible, not the whisker. However I guess Wilfredor just referred to the label of the description Лепота и традиција Босилеградског краја which was labelled as ‘English’ but is Serbian. I have fixed this. Of course it would be good to expand the Serbian description a bit (and to add a longer English description, too), because the description just means something like ‘The beauty and tradition of the Bosilegrad region’, and that does not tell us much about what exactly we see in this photo. Example: “A young woman wearing the traditional festive dress of the Bosilegrad region and sitting by the Orthodox church in <name of the place>.” would make already make a more useful description. – Aristeas (talk) 18:44, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I don't think your Z50 has focus-shift-shooting like your friend's Z8. That gives him an advantageǃ But your shot of the Margaret crown is much sharper than his recently-promoted FPC and I prefer your slightly lower PoV. Without focus-stacking, the bottom of the relic is blurred. Although, it doesn't matter for Commons FPC, but I would put the image into the Charlemagne deWiki article.
