I've tried to put the AusGovStat files from Category:Valid SVG created with Gnuplot into Category:Valid SVG created with Gnuplot-AusGovStat, which was impossible. May you please help me? Should I copy them into the more specific category?--Gszegosz (talk) 10:19, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
@Perhelion: ich habe das mal gecheckt, es betrifft wohl an die 57000 Dateien die der Überarbeitung bedürfen:
Überall müsste einiges geändert, plus das Igen eingebaut werden. Ginge ja gut mit VFC aber bei dieser Menge nicht mehr machbar, da ist ein bot gefragt. Die Anzahl der Fehler erscheint bei jeder Kategorie dieselbe zu sein, dein script zählt nur bis 1000 und hört dann auf. Allzugrosse Dateien sind uncheckbar. |

- Ich hab zufallig gesehen dass du den 'artist' Doc Taxon der Wappenwerkstatt zuordnest. Deshalb habe ich dich zu den bisher 4 anderen Wappenwerkstatt-Editoren verlinkt. Es liegt nicht an der Vorlage Wappenwerkstatt, die jetzt als Hinweis von "Igen" erzeugt wird. - Scheint dass ich es jetzt hinbekommen habe. @Doc Taxon: und Gunnar.offel habe ich umgestellt, die anderen vier wenn es so OK ist. Dann ist nicht mehr alles Wappenwerstatt sondern was eben jeweils eingestellt ist, bei dir zB 'di' = Germany individuell.
- Wenn aber eine Datei zum Graphic Lab 'dw' = deutsche Wappenwerstatt gehort - als Standardeintrag oder Modifikation (image = dtx///gw) - dann wird sie eben so kategorisiert und die standardmassige Kategorisierung in die Oberkategorie CoA Lab-de unterbleibt. Mit dieser Modifikation sind nun einzelne Dateien zuordenbar; geht auch ohne COAInformation, wie bei DEU Kirdorf COA.svg -- sarang♥사랑 22:27, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

Zum DEU Kirdorf COA.svg, das hatte Perhelion damals in der Wappenwerkstatt gemacht, nicht in der Grafikwerkstatt, deshalb finde ich /gw dort auch nicht richtig. - Da hast du recht, es ist feiner unterteilt als eigentlich notwendig - ich habe erst jetzt die Übersicht. Es ist nur für sehr wenige Benutzer, dass mehrere Baustellen möglich sind, es ufert also nicht zu arg aus.
- Das ganze habe ich mit CoA Lab-fr bgonnen und dann für CoA Lab-de beibehalten, wo es nicht so gut passt. Natürlich kann es immer noch etwas reduziert werden -- sarang♥사랑 09:30, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

siehe File:DEU Maring-Noviand COA.svg: dort gibt es im Quelltext keinen Hinweis auf Grafikwerkstatt (de), es steht aber in der Vorlage: "Dieses SVG-Wappen wurde in der Grafikwerkstatt (de) überarbeitet." Definitiv ist dieses Wappen nie Gegenstand in der Grafikwerkstatt gewesen, auch nicht in der Wappenwerkstatt. Ich musste was erweitern:
- jeder Benutzerkey hat entweder ein graphic lab spezifiziert, oder ist ohne solches
- jedes graphic lab kann modifiziert werden, dann gilt die Modifikation
Bisher war das nur in de notwendig (wegen der beiden Werkstatten), dort bedeutet
- di Grafikwerkstatt (Du als dtx hast
dieingetragen) - dw Wappenwerkstatt
- dx Graphic lab-de (nur Kategorie)
- dn ohne alles - auch keine Kategorie

Hi! Wenn ich mich nicht irre, dachte ich, ging das schon mal, dass Beschreibungen mit der Vorlage:Creator automatisch eine passende Kategorie gekriegt haben. In File:DEU Vöhl COA.svg habe ich {{Creator:Heinz Ritt}} eingebaut und wundere mich gerade, warum nicht automatisch die Category:Coats of arms by Heinz Ritt zugewiesen wird. CoA created with text-editor
Hi Sarang, i'm Kontributor 2K
I noticed that when {{Igen|T|+|s=c|10=S|gf}} has been put in the image tag inside COAInformation, and when one uses English in commons, the SVG Information shows: « This W3C-unspecified coat of arms was created with a text editor » - while when French is used: « Ce blason a été créé avec un éditeur de texte. » = there is no alert about W3C-unspecification… Also, the Unspec SVG created with Text Editor category is obscure to me. Do the files stay in there ?
Moreover, when I put K2/161104/658/S/s~c in the image tag - example here - for the CoA to go to SVG simplified Coats of Arms●Zero category (too), then the file is moved to Valid SVG created with Text Editor:CoA category, meaning it has been removed from Valid SVG created with Text Editor:CoA-K2, sub-subcategory of the previous.
Is this normal? Or do you think that I didn't put the right code in the tag?

Back in late August this year, Sarang told me in the midst of an e-mail exchange we were having that he had just received a shattering medical diagnosis, and that he had only a few months to live, at best. On Saturday last week I received an e-mail from a person I didn't know. She said Sarang wanted her to let his wikipedian friends know about his passing. She said she found my messages in his mail, so she contacted me requesting that I get out the word: Sarang unexpectedly died on 20 September 2023 from a severe illness.
