Information on temporary account IP viewer rights

Hello Rockfang,

On November 12, temporary accounts will be enabled on Commons. The IP of unregistered users will then be hidden for most users. You, as a patroller or license reviewer, are eligible to request the new temporary account IP viewer right, if you need it to continue fighting vandalism and abuse on Commons. If you want to request the right, please file the request here. Please be aware that you also have to accept the Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy in your preferences. Incorrect license reviewed

Hi, I noticed you marked this file (Lamarr Wilson 2020.jpg) as reviewed but you did so with the wrong license. The file should actually be licensed {{YouTube CC-BY}}, not {{Cc-by-4.0}}. – Howardcorn33 (💬) 21:03, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

deletion requests

Hi, sorry for bothering you, I'm writing you because I've seen that you're opening quite a number of deletion requests. Usually DRs are sorted so that users with a specific knowledge (at least in the local language, but also in the local laws) can weigh in and provide some input, at least to try to find the author of a work and the undeletion date. Here and here for example I've added "Italian FOP cases/pending". Friniate (talk) 08:46, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
