Ich habe vor einiger Zeit die Zeichnungen von J.J.Smith aus der Nova Guinea hochgeladen und bei vielen fehlen noch die Metadaten, also wenn du Zeit hättest...;-)

Hi @Conan Wolff, du könntest z.B. die Artnamen in der Beschreibung, die Quelle (BHL-Seite) ergänzen, den BHL-Baustein (Permission) und die Kategorien bei den Illustrationen ergänzen. Als Vorlage wäre Nova_Guinea 8(3) plate 31 ganz gut geeignet. An dieser kannst du dich orientieren und bei einer Illustration die noch nicht bearbeitet wurde weitermachen. Die Seite vor der eigentlichen Illustration in der BHL zeigt die Legende mit den Artnamen (z.B. Legende pl. 31). An der rechten Seite ist der Reiter "Show Text", dort kannst du den OCR-Text sehen. Den Artnamen dort kopieren (vorsicht manchmal fehlerhaft!) und in https://powo.science.kew.org/ nachschauen ob er akzeptiert ist und ob er nicht ggf. ein Synonym ist. In POWO den Artnamen mit Autor kopieren und in die Beschreibung einfügen. Ggf. den akzeptierten Namen und das Synonym einfügen wie im oberen Beispiel. Die Kategorien ergänzen und alles formatieren. Hi, wenn der Link fehlt, dann muss er ergänzt werden, einfach an der davor orieniteren. Ich habe beim Upload vergessen das Werk allgemein zu verlinken. Aber die Platten ohne Link sollten schon abgearbeitet sein. Ich lade demnächst noch 100 weitere hoch die ich selbst gescannt habe. I also want to highlight what an incredible turnout we had. In the second round, we saw a massive jump in both the number of users voting and the total votes cast. We had exactly 13,979 votes cast by 3,509 users! To put that in perspective, last year we had 7,403 votes from 2,837 users. It is amazing to see that level of growth and community engagement.
Thank you to everyone who voted, helped organize, and generally made the contest such a huge success this year!
