svg আবেদন

Kaim Amin ভাই, আপনার svg লোগো ও পতাকা সমূহের জন্য অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ। চাকমা রাজ এর পতাকা svg হিসেবে তৈরিতে আপনি যদি অবদান রাখতেন তাহলে তা খুবই ভালো হতো। চাকমা রাজের পতাকার নিদর্শন এই ফেসবুক পোস্টে ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে। চাকমা সার্কেলের লোগো যা উইকিপিডিয়াতে আছে তার থেকে এই লোগো এর ভিন্নতা আছে যা এই ফেসবুক পোস্টে সুস্পষ্ট।

আর দ্বিতীয়ত এই পতাকাটি svg করতে পারলে তা ভালো হতো। এই পতাকাটি সাধারণত আর্মি কুচকাআওয়াজে ব্যাবহার করে। এর আশেপাশের হলুদ বর্ডার আমি অন্যান্য ছবি দেখে যা বুঝেছি সেটা decoration এর ঝালড় না, বরং হলুদ বর্ডার যা পতাকার অংশ। প্রত্যেক ছবিতে পতাকা ভাঁজ হয়ে থাকায় আরবি ফন্ট কোনটা ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে তা বুঝা কষ্টসাধ্য। আমি commons এর পতাকার ফন্ট খুঁজে পাইনি বলে svg করা ছেড়ে দিয়েছি আমি ক্ষোভে।

@Tausheef Hassan, দেরির জন্য দুঃখিত। আমি ফাইল গুলো তৈরি করবো, কিন্তু চাকমা কোট অব আর্মস এর কপিরাইট সম্পর্কে তথ্য প্রয়োজন। এর প্রণেতার নাম জানা আছে কিনা? না থাকলে এর প্রকাশের পর ৬০ বছর অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে তা নিশ্চিত কিনা?

এছাড়া, ফন্টের জন্য কোনো ইউজার জেনারেটেড ফাইল উৎস হিসেবে নেওয়া ঠিক না। আরবি লেখা যুক্ত বাংলাদেশের পতাকাটির পক্ষে কোনো উৎস ওই ফাইলে ও উইকিপিডিয়ার নিবন্ধে যোগ করে দিন। Kaim (talk) 20:09, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

@Kaim Amin, দেরির জন্যে দুঃখিত। আমি আরবি লেখা যুক্ত বাংলাদেশি পতাকার ফাইল এ উৎস যোগ করেছি। আপনি Bangladesh Parade Flag লিখে সার্চ দিলে এর আরও উদাহরণ পেয়ে যাবেন।
চাকমা court of arms এর ব্যাপারে সেটা রাঙ্গামাটির চাকমা প্রাসাদের অনুযায়ী সেটা সম্ভবত ব্রিটিশ আমলের তাই ৬০ বছর পার হয়ে গেছে। তবে তার পক্ত প্রমাণ নেই। তবে coat or arms এর জন্যে {{CoA from blazon}} ও {{insignia}} ব্যাবহার করতে পারেন যদি যথার্থ হয় Tausheef Hassan (talk) 12:31, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

Round 1 of Picture of the Year 2024 voting is open!

Dear Wikimedian,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2024 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year is the nineteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2024) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 27 September 2025, 23:59:59 UTC.

SSR/CCP variants of Soviet/Russian republics flags

I noticed a number of flags you uploaded (and added to the Country Data templates by @Boston Mayflower) that seem to be supposed flags of Soviet/Russian ASSRs after their promotions to SSRs in 1990-91 before the adoption of their modern flags. Do we have actual source of these designs in the form of either textual descriptions in the constitutions of these republics or photographs from the era? Based on photos from the signing of w:Treaty of Federation, the flags in fact still had "ACCP" (ASSR) on them at the end of March 1992: SaarPro (talk) 05:42, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

Would you like to add the references to the descriptions on the pages of those images? Not sure if the crwflags.com ones are good sources on their own, but some of them mention supposed footage showing those flags at the parliament.

As a note, the flag with the visible "ACCP" text from the Mar 1992 photos seems to be of Buryatia. SaarPro (talk) 09:10, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
