House County Maps
Hi there, what's the best way to find congressional district county maps with splits Gordfather69 (talk) 01:56, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- For anything pre-2022/118th Congress, download the .zip file located under the "County Within Congressional Districts" section from this census.gov webpage. The dimensions of the shapes are a bit off, so once you've singled out the state(s)/district(s) you want to map, I recommend matching them with the dimensions of one of these standardized county maps in something like Inkscape.
- I'm assuming the Census Bureau will publish something similar to this nationwide map in the future that includes the new congressional district lines, but I have no idea when that will be. Hope this helps! Scoutguy138 (talk) 03:03, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
South carolina county map
How did you make this map File:1865 South Carolina gubernatorial election results map by county.svg look like the standardized shapes? JosephBobilly (talk) 15:18, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @JosephBobilly, do you still need help with this? Sorry for the late reply, I took a break from Wikipedia over the summer. Scoutguy138 (talk) 14:47, 12 September 2024 (UTC)

Hello
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16BBBvVQRE/
Could you help me upload these four photos from Indonesia to Wikimedia Commons? They feature Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and Indonesian President Joko Widodo. The photos were officially taken by the Indonesian government and sourced from Facebook, so they are eligible for upload. 2001:D08:E6:D35B:EDD4:B124:9831:4C0B 17:57, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Gay Valimont Image Provided to Publication by Gay Valimont
It says very clearly that image to the publication was provided by Gay Valimont: Meet Gay Valimont, the Democrat challenging GOP firebrand Matt Gaetz Starlighsky (talk) 17:22, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, her campaign provided that image to Northwest Florida Daily News for use in that article only. Her campaign did not release the image into the public domain. Any Commons user that uploads this image without a valid license is uploading a copyright violation. scoutguy138 17:38, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
Autopatrol given

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. Abzeronow (talk) 01:56, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
