First steps tutorial Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Linking to images

Instead of including the whole URL, like you did at Commons:Deletion requests/2021/10/24#File:Nazanin-vs-vazir-thousands-separator.png, you can add a colon before the filename, like this: [[:File:Comparison of thousands separator in Persian fonts.svg]]

It will render like this: File:Comparison of thousands separator in Persian fonts.svg

من از درگاه ملی آمار ایران نقشهٔ یزد را ترسیم کردم.

آخرین نقشهٔ موجود در آن سایت برای سال ۱۳۹۹ است که برای مثال شهرستان مروست در استان یزد را ندارد.

برای استان اصفهان، آیا نقشهٔ سال ۱۳۹۹ سایت آمار ایران بروزرسانی‌هایی را که گفتید دارد؟ یعنی از سال ۱۳۹۹ تا حالا تغییر دیگری در نقشهٔ استان اصفهان اتفاق نیافتاده؟

ترسیم نقشه استان اصفهان کار زمان‌بری است (حداقل برای من). اگر نقشهٔ سایت آمار ایران بروز باشد احتمالا اگر بتوانم انجام می‌دهم ولی قول نمی‌دهم. Jooja (talk) 19:46, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Lisp Logo

Hi Joola,

i write, since the Lisp logo is apparently from your pen. I'm about to change this in favor for a drawing of a Cons-cell. Since you brought up the cover drawing from 'The Little LISPer', you might want to take part one the discussion about changing the logo. It would be kind and helpful, if you support this proposal.

For a longer explanation, please see the discussion of the German version of the topic. I'm about to translate the key points for the English discussion. The most central points are perhaps:

1. There is historically no logo for Lisp, really.
2. The logo currently used (yours) is certainly unique, but this uniqueness was intended a book, but not for the language.
3. The Cons-Cell as drawn here is omnipresent in Lisp literature and was historically recognized as iconographic for Lisp. See the Lisp Machine's panel as a proof or page through the drawing some Lisp-related literature.
