Template:Created with Gnuplot

 This plot was created with gnuplot.

The template {{Created with Gnuplot}} (shorthand:{{Gnuplot}}) marks as well Vector graphics as Computer graphics, e.g. .png.

  • Computer graphics (e.g. files .PNG) should be marked with {{Gnuplot|n}}
  • Vector graphics should be checked for their W3C-validity and then marked either by {{Gnuplot|v}} or {{Gnuplot|err=##}}
To allow a swift check for validity, the generated box "This plot was created with gnuplot" can be used:
the Italic written plot is a link to the W3C-validator.
(Of course, this link won't be useful if the file isn't a vector graphic)

English: Used to mark files created with Gnuplot.
Wherever possible, please include the source code, using Igen with the parameter code=
For more information, see the description of the template:Created with code.

As its name indicates, this template was originally designed to identify the software (application, in most cases) used to create the file, but its role has since largely expanded. It now displays a horizontal (usually grey) box describing the file, potentially specifying its author, and controls its categorization.

This template may or may not display another box about SVG validity in some cases. When that validity box displays, it is first.

The template automatically sets the following categories:

and with code=
