I guess by now you realise that something is greatly amiss. Commons is not wikipedia although it started out to host images for the various wikipedias. One of the most important differences is that Commons does not allow fair use media, which is the rationale you provided with the file File:Backwoods barbie.jpg, this rationale is still justified if you load these images directly to the wikipedias you want to use them on. On Commons all media must be free to use, modify and distribute. Have a quick read through the links in the Welcome box to work out what is and what is not allowed, and please don't lose heart, Commons is fun and really a quite convivial place its just that the rules are a little different from what you may have been used to--KTo288 (talk) 10:11, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
