Category:Main message boxes Category:Lua-based templates This template adds interlanguage links (also known as interwiki links) to the categories which are linked to Wikidata category items.

Usage

Deutsch: Die folgende Logik wird verwendet:

Wenn der Wikidata-Kategorieeintrag Sitelinks zu Wikipedia-Kategorien enthält, werden diese verwendet.
Wenn die Eigenschaft Thema der Kategorie (P301) verwendet wird, wird die QID des Artikelelements wiederhergestellt.
Für Wikipedias ohne Kategorie-Interlanguage-Links werden Interlanguage-Links zu Wikipedia-Artikeln hinzugefügt.

English: The following logic is used:

If the Wikidata category item has some sitelinks to Wikipedia categories those are used
If property category's main topic (P301) is used then the article item's QID is recovered
For Wikipedias without category interlanguage links, interlanguage links to Wikipedia articles are added

TemplateData

TemplateData is a way to store information about template parameters (the description of those and of the whole template) for both humans and machines. It is used by VisualEditor and possibly other tools like Upload Wizard.

Existing template documentation
At Wikimedia Commons, it is recommended to use {{TemplateBox}} with either ‎useTemplateData=1 or ‎useTemplateData=only on the ‎/doc subpage and transcluding it with {{Documentation}} into the template. ‎<nowiki>-tags can be wrapped around the arguments, if required, to avoid templates being expanded.

Newly created template documentation and imports
Another option, especially for imported templates, or for users with JSON experience, is placing raw ‎<templatedata>-tags into the Wikitext of the template, as described in various Wikipediae.
