Topluluk rolü

Hizmetliler, Commons topluluğunun ek bakım işlerini üstlenen ve genel görüş birliği/oylama yoluyla hizmetli araçlarıyla görevlendirilmiş deneyimli ve güvenilir üyelerdir. Farklı yöneticilerin farklı ilgi alanları ve uzmanlıkları vardır, ancak tipik yönetici görevleri arasında silme isteklerini belirleme ve kapatma, telif hakkı ihlallerini silme, gerektiğinde dosyaları silme, Commons'ı vandalizme karşı koruma ve şablonlar ve diğer korumalı sayfalarda çalışma sayılabilir. Hizmetli haklarının kaldırılması

hizmetli kaldırma politikası uyarınca, sistem hakları araçlarının kullanılmaması veya kötüye kullanılması nedeniyle yönetici hakları iptal edilebilir. Yöneticilikten alma talebinde, bir RfA'da (Yöneticilik talebi) fikir birliğini belirlemek için kullanılan normal standartlar geçerli değildir. Bunun yerine, "çoğunluk fikir birliği" kullanılmalıdır. Buna göre, bir yöneticinin yetkisini kaldırmak için %50'den yüksek herhangi bir fikir birliği yeterlidir.

Hizmetli olmak için başvurun

Tüm hedef hizmetliler bu süreci gerçekleştirmeli ve önceki rollerine dönmek isteyen tüm eski yöneticiler de dahil olmak üzere kendilerini RFA ile göndermelidir.

Oylama

Önceden düzenlemeleri az olan veya hiç olmayanlar tam olarak sayılmasa da kayıtlı herhangi bir kullanıcı oy verebilir. Hem  Support oylar hem de  Oppose oylar için gerekçe belirtmeniz tercih edilir, çünkü bu kararın kapanış bürokratına yardımcı olur. Bir argümana, gerekirse basit bir oydan ziyade destekleyici kanıtlarla daha fazla ağırlık verilir.

Tanıtım normalde en az %75 oy ve en az 8 destek oyu gerektirir. Kayıtlı olmayan kullanıcılardan alınan oylar sayılmaz. Ancak, kapanış bürokratının toplum mutabakatını değerlendirmede takdir yetkisi vardır ve karar mutlaka ham sayılara dayanmayacaktır.

 Neutral yorumlar başarılı/başarısız yüzdelerini hesaplamak amacıyla oy toplamlarında sayılmaz. Ancak bu tür yorumlar tartışmanın bir parçasıdır, başkalarını ikna edebilir ve kapanış bürokratının topluluk mutabakatı anlayışına katkıda bulunabilir.

Hi. I'm Nux, a programmer from Poland, and I want to become a technical admin and an interface admin (after reading that page, I assume I need both). In my day job, I work as a Tech Lead at a relatively large library systems company, so I'm accustomed to working in highly used environments. I've also been a user on Wikipedia for more than 20 years and have worked with various other open-source software (including translations for OpenOfice and Greenstone Digital Library, minor changes to Firefox debugger, and some changes in MediaWiki). My primary technical interests are accessibility, cybersecurity, i18n/l10n, and JavaScript. I create gadgets and bots on wikis (mostly on pl.wiki, but I also have e.g. IA rights on Meta).

Here on Commons, you might know me from fixing US maps, such as File:Map of Virginia highlighting Roanoke City.svg (and many others). I could use higher API limits when doing things like that. I can also process requests from the Polish community. I speak Polish, English, and JavaScript fluently, I used to know German and I'm learning French.

  •  Support Nux wrote the Pie chart module for Polish Wikipedia which was adopted by a dozen other language Wikpedias, and was especially useful as the WMF was slow to roll out there own graphing solutions. When an older and hackier pie chart template was replaced with this module on English Wikipedia, Nux was granted Template editor permissions (to edit highly transcluded pages) although he had not previously had the need. He has since done excellent work in maintaining the module. Bug reports are quickly responded to and the module remains portable across languages. Rjjiii (talk) 06:11, 8 May 2026 (UTC)

  •  Question, @Nux, thank you for nominating yourself for adminship. Can you expand on what you plan to do particularly if you become an admin in Commons? You have mentioned "fixing US maps", "higher API limits" and "process requests from the Polish community", which as mentioned above, these don't seem to be strong arguments for granting admin privileges.     Hi. Sorry for not being very specific.
    • First, I plan to fix problems with the interface due to changes in the standard thumbnail sizes, which are currently causing the upload form to malfunction. But also MediaWiki:WSM.css, MediaWiki:Gadget-scrollUpButton.js and more. For that, I will need interface administrator rights.
    • Then there are more than 2,100 pages to fix (most of them look like links). I assume some of the pages to change are protected, so I would need administrator rights to edit them. I already have a script for that, so it should be doable in a few hours (unless there are some unusual cases that require more work). I could start now, but it's easier and faster for me to do it in one go.
    • I'm also a tech contributor for Wiki Loves Monuments in Poland, so I might need to update templates quickly as the event approaches. I have adjusted the Polish WLM campaign in the past (I only have temporary rights for that at the moment). I also have my notes for next year's WLM (just to show you this is not a one-time thing). So rights to change the campaign and some templates is something I might need to update once a year based on community decisions and technical reqs. It's not frequent, but when needed, it may require quick changes.
    • I'm active on plwiki community channels, so Polish-speaking users would know how to reach me. Most other admins here who speak Polish are not very active on Wikipedia, so I think I could help fill that gap. I'm also a CheckUser and an admin on plwiki, and I would be the only CU from plwiki who is also an admin here on Commons.
    • I also plan to subscribe to the admin boards and help when I can. So maybe some technical stuff, maybe some quick file rename and stuff like that.
    • I will also go through Category:Commons protected edit requests for interface administrators. Upon brief examination I noticed some of the requests have no comments from admins. I have extensive experience with JS and CSS, so I should be able to handle most requests quickly.

I get that you're applying as tech admin; and as such, I think that you're bound to receive "emergency calls" for help (like a request for RevDel of private data or the like - I'm one such guy who's actively contacting admins spotted in RC when I see nefarious stuff).     @Grand-Duc interesting, I think I never had this request. You can see that here: https://xtools.wmcloud.org/ec/pl.wikipedia.org/Nux?sections=year-counts|timecard. Thought that's not the only time you can find me on wikis. There are times when I prepare tools offline or not with edits (like today for example I'm doing a tool on Toolforge, which is only reading API, not doing edits).
