Location?

Hi CosyCobra - I am guessing your photo File:Equisetum sp.jpg (which is Equisetum telmateia) was taken somewhere in Italy, but it would be good if you could add a detailed location, please! This will make the file much more useful. Grazie! - MPF (talk) 22:22, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

@MPF Hello, and thanks for taking care of such an old upload! I took that picture in Italy indeed. But it is part of a big messy bunch of old pictures (some of them dating back 7 years or more), so I can't recall where this particular photo comes from. --CosyCobra (talk) 08:59, 18 September 2024 (UTC)

This year is the nineteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2024) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. Premiazione Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2025 e compleanno Wikipedia 25

Ciao CosyCobra. Ti scrivo questo messaggio per invitarti alla premiazione nazionale di Wiki Loves Monuments Italia che si terrà a Torino presso il Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento italiano domenica 18 gennaio 2026 a partire dalle ore 15:00. Alle 14:00 sarà anche possibile partecipare a una visita guidata gratuita al museo che ci ospita.

In questa pagina di Wikipedia ci sono tutti i dettagli dell'evento, compresa un'editathon (maratona di scrittura su Wikipedia) che si terrà lo stesso giorno in mattinata: Premiazione Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2025 e compleanno Wikipedia 25.
