Thoughts on categories I'd like to create

Exits with letters (or something to that effect) that would hold items like photos of Exit 9S, Exit 15A for instance.
Left-handed exits - does this deserve a category.
Lane ends signs - surprised this doesn't exist - maybe it should.
Gas logo road signs/Food logo road signs - do we enough of these signs that show just gas or just food (or just lodging for that matter) to make categories under Category:Logo road signs in the United States?
Marching bands in parades - are there enough photos for this category to exist?

For Atlanta I'd prioritize stuff with Wikipedia articles, and perhaps some of the cultural sites (the International Academy of Georgia is a reflection of the area Japanese culture for instance). Noticed a possible image caption error

Looking at File:EB GA44 Distance road sign Rock Eagle 10 Madison 22, Eatonton dashcam.jpg since intersection control beacons are a interest, and I think the title is wrong here, this is located north of where EB GA44 splits off of BUS441/BUS129, so it should be "NB BUS US129/441 Distance road sign..." or something like that I believe. - The Bushranger (talk) 23:25, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

A note on speed limit sign categories

A note on some of the tweaks I'm making - images probably shouldn't be in both "Advisory speed warning road signs in foo" and "XX mph speed limit road signs in foo" categories, since the advisory placards are not actually speed limits. That's a more complex can of worms that probably falls under "this is where a casual user would be looking for it", but yeah, they're advisories. As I understand it, if you go over the advisory speed, you can't be pulled over and ticketed just for your speed, but if you get in an accident in an area marked with one you can be dinged for excessive speed causing it. As opposed to 'normal' speed limits, which are, well, speed limits (even if so, so many drivers honor them solely in the breach!). - The Bushranger (talk) 21:11, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
