Affiliate Recognition and Derecognition: This past quarter, AffCom recognized no new Affiliates due to the pause in recognizing new affiliates.

AffCom Conflict Intervention: AffCom is currently addressing eight ongoing affiliate conflict cases received in previous quarters.

Affiliate Recognition Pause Extension: The Wikimedia Foundation, together with the AffCom, has extended the pause on new affiliate recognition until September 1, 2026.

New Affiliate Model Development Efforts: The Affiliations Committee held collaborative meetings with the Global Resource Distribution Committee (GRDC) to explore the development of a new affiliations model.

Towards a Healthy Ecosystem of Wikimedia Organizations: Two major pilot initiatives were launched to address long-standing questions about the roles of movement organizations and the future of resource allocation.

Jawatankuasa Gabungan (sebelumnya dikenali sebagai Jawatankuasa Piagam, secara tidak formal AffCom) merupakan jawatankuasa komuniti Wikimedia yang diamanahkan bagi menasihati Lembaga Pemegang Amanah Yayasan Wikimedia bagi kelulusan pergerakan berkait baru: chapter kebangsaan atau negeri, organisasi tematik dan kumpulan pengguna.

Jawatankuasa telah ditubuhkan pada 15 Januari 2006, melalui resolusi oleh Badan Amanah, bersama beberapa komiti Wikimedia yang lain. Mandat asalnya termasuk penyelarasan pembangunan piagam Wikimedia—yang pada masa itu berada di peringkat awal organisasi, serta memudahkan komunikasi dikalangan chapter dan diantara chapter dan Yayasan Wikimedia.

Pada tahun 2012, berikutan perbincangan masyarakat dan resolusi Lembaga Pemegang Amanah yang terhasil, skop Jawatankuasa telah diperluaskan bagi merangkumi organisasi tematik dan kumpulan pengguna. Selaras dengan ketetapan itu, Jawatankuasa menggubal piagamnya yang telah diluluskan secara rasmi oleh Lembaga pada bulan Ogos, memuktamadkan peralihan ke Jawatankuasa Gabungan.

Jawatankuasa Gabungan membuat cadangan kepada Lembaga Pemegang Amanah mengenai pengiktirafan, kelulusan dan kewujudan pergerakan sekutu Wikimedia, dan bagi membantu penubuhan gabungan pergerakan pertubuhan tersebut. Dalam erti kata lain, Jawatankuasa membantu Wikimedians di seluruh dunia bagi menganjurkan diri membentuk chapter, organisasi tematik and kumpulan pengguna, dan bagi mendapat pengiktirafan rasmi daripada Yayasan Wikimedia.

Kami mampu membimbing anda melalui proses mengasaskan organisasi anda dengan membantu anda bagi menyediakan undang-undang kecil, menjawab soalan mengenai apa yang dijangka oleh Yayasan dari sekutu, menyediakan bantuan dan nasihat bagi penyelesaian biasa isu-isu teknikal, tanda perniagaan, pentadbiran dan pembangunan masyarakat, dan-jika sesuai-dengan meluluskan sokongan kewangan yang terhad bagi memulakan aktiviti anda (seperti bagi meliputi kos pendaftaran dan pelancaran awal projek).

The Affiliates Committee comprises volunteers selected for their enthusiasm and their skills in community organising, cross-cultural communication, reviewing bylaws, and providing governance advice for emerging organisations. There are currently 9 (nine) voting members with terms of three years each.

Voting members of the Committee are helped by non-voting advisors. Advisors provide the Committee with on-the-ground experience, language skills, and governance advice, and are able to take part in discussions at subcommittee meetings.

Certain Wikimedia Foundation staff members support the Committee in its operations and help the Committee to function effectively. They are actively present on the Affiliations Committee's non-public mailing list and internal wiki, and may provide advice to the Committee based on their knowledge and expertise. They are not voting Committee members.

The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees appoint liaisons to the Committee to facilitate communication and coordination between the Committee and the Board. The liaisons shall be the Committee's primary point of contact with the Board, and shall serve to update the Board on the Committee's activities and update the Committee on relevant Board activities. They may request information related to the Committee's operations as necessary to carry out their role. They are not voting Committee members.
