Don't cite Wikipedia; cite its sources. Wikipedia is a gateway; a condensed summary of knowledge, not a destination: start there, read the summary, grasp the landscape, then follow the trail back to the primary sources, and verify whether Wikipedia's claims hold up. Found something wrong? Don't whine on social media, "Wikipedia is wrong, it is spreading misinformation!" Instead, click Edit and correct the information yourself, citing the trusted sources you have. Yes, Wikipedia could be biased, as is everything human-made; it is built on certain perspectives of contributors who built it. Yet, our task is to make sure every valid, sourced perspectives are acknowledged and documented.
