Seeking access to the Digital Safety Office Hours
Hi! I have tried emailing to 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬@wikimedia.org but emails are returned to sender, delivery failure. I have attended one earlier session and may be emailed via English Wikipedia User:Oronsay. Oronsay (talk) 23:24, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Oronsay - thank you for the ping. I am sorry to hear about this. I'm not really sure what the issue might be. I just tested the inbox and I'm receiving emails. I'm wondering whether you copied and pasted the email address rather than typing it manually. Sometimes when copying and pasting, hidden formatting characters or extra spaces can be included, which may cause the address to be rejected. Could you try typing the address manually and see if that makes a difference? In either case, I have your email address and will send you the invite directly. I just want to make sure our inbox is working properly and that others aren't running into the same issue. MFischer (WMF) (talk) 03:42, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Just typed the address and sent an email. Hope you received it. Oronsay (talk) 03:49, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, it still did not come in. I have sent you the confirmation email and will follow-up with the call links one day before the session. Please let me know if you've recieved it.
- I have tested the inbox with a few more ways, and I'm unable to figure out what the issue is. Can you try replying to the email I've sent? MFischer (WMF) (talk) 04:07, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
