Registrering
The cost of registering to attend Wikimania changes from one edition to the other. In general there are two ways to differentiate costs
- according to when the people register (Early bird, Early registration, regular registration, on-site registration)
- according to the type of participant (Wikimedia contributor with username or without). In 2008 in Alexandria in Egypt there was also a category of "local Wikimedia contributor" and the distinction was between Wikimedia contributor and corporate (there was no distinction between contributor and non contributor).
